GC Worlds: Elite Eight ... or Nine
The playoff continues and from what I can piece together from internet sources (Facebook) only one match remains to be concluded from the second round. It happens to be the marquee matchup of Duncan Dixon vs Reg Bamford. The best of three is set to conclude tomorrow/today with the match currently tied at 1-1. Bamford took game one 7-1, while Dixon took the second 7-6. Reportedly, this represents the first game loss for Bamford in the event. Bottom line, huge early round drama. (Secret tip: This event is tailor-made for TV).
