The Mitsubishi British Opens Singles ended with a five game final between young Robert Fletcher (16) of Australia and Reg Bamford of South Africa. The Opens Doubles are still waiting to complete. The finals were delayed as Robert Fletcher was busy in the singles final. Fletcher and Stephen Mulliner won the first game versus Jeff Dawson and Samir Patel (+1) and the rest of the match is to be completed during MacRobertson Shield play.
