The 2011 Midwest High School Croquet Championship was held this past Friday night at the Sports Bubble in Fargo, North Dakota and Fargo South came out as the champion in a tight race. Over 50 students participated in the championship and about 120-150 spectators were on hand to watch the action. The format was nine-wicket cutthroat style with 45 minute time limits. Interesting news video on four high schools that are playing nine-wicket croquet in the Fargo, North Dakota area and are aiming to play a state championship next spring. The four schools that are playing include Moorhead, Shanley, West Fargo, and Fargo North.
Here's a review of a new croquet game for the iPad. I still don't have my hands on an iPad, so I won't be able to review this one.
