The MCA Series Tour is set to expand this Memorial Day weekend with the addition of the Indian Territory Open, hosted by the Tulsa Croquet Club at LaFortune Park. Running May 23-26, the 2025 edition marks the first-ever American Six Wicket tournament to be included in the MCA’s developing regional Series Tour.
Players will open the weekend with Friday practice followed by the start of block play that afternoon. A relaxed courtside BBQ will cap off the day, giving players a chance to unwind and connect before the intensity ramps up on Saturday and Sunday. The playoff rounds are scheduled for Monday morning.
The tournament will include both singles and doubles formats, with daily lunches and drinks provided throughout the event. A special dinner on Saturday evening will highlight the social side of the competition.
The Indian Territory Open becomes the second official stop for the newly expanded 2025 MCA Series Tour, joining a slate that features the Missouri Open (9W) in early May, the US Golf Croquet Classic in Denver this July, and the Houston Invitational in October. Players participating in these events accumulate points toward the overall Series Tour standings, with end-of-season prizes available across four divisions:
PRO Division:
1st – $250
2nd – $125
3rd – $75
GOLD Division:
1st – $100
2nd – $75
3rd – $50
SILVER & BRONZE Divisions:
Trophy awards for first-place finishers
The MCA’s introduction of a prize pool and tournaments of different croquet codes is part of a larger effort to create continuity and added incentive across events in the Midwest region. The inclusion of an American Six Wicket format in the Series represents a key evolution in that vision as the series has previously only held nine wicket events.
