The Santa Rosa Press Democrat offered a recent story on Jerry Stark:
“He worked his dream job I think,” his wife, Donna, said Friday from the home they shared in Lake County’s Hidden Valley Lake. “Not many people get to do that.”
Harleyville, PA Whack and Roll story makes the Montgomery News website:
“There seems to be a heightened interest among that 35 to 40 year old age group. They seem to have a lot of fond memories of doing this as kids at grandmom's house or having done this Sundays after church,” Fluder said.
Doug Stephens is delivering on his promise to bring croquet to the Flint, Michigan area. This new article announces a partnership with the Genesee Valley Meadows Golf Course. Excerpt:
“The plan next year is to get the course really nice and professional and then we want to have a big national tournament when players from all over the country can come here and play.”
This is a strange one -- a condo development in Singapore is including a croquet court. It's be nice if this trend would catch on world-wide. You can see a glimpse of the planned court near the bottom of this photo:
