The 2023 Steuber Classic, a USCA Sanctioned Event, will take place from Tuesday, February 14th to Sunday, February 19th. Sponsored by the Charles P. Steuber Family, this event offers carved animal trophies in semi-precious stone for first, second, and third-place winners in all flights. The Championship Flight will also have $3,000 in cash prizes.
On Tuesday, February 14th, the courts will open for practice at 1:00 PM, followed by an opening reception at 4:00 PM. Wednesday, February 15th will be a stand-alone event, the Waterford Doubles, featuring American Rules and Golf Croquet. This event includes a breakfast station at 8:00 AM and a lunch buffet at 11:30 AM.
Singles play will take place from Thursday, February 16th to Saturday, February 18th, with the option to play either American Rules or Golf Croquet. There will be a breakfast station at 8:00 AM and a lunch buffet at 11:30 AM each day. The last match on Friday, February 17th will end at 4:30 PM, followed by the Hall of Fame Induction Gala and Festive Dinner at 5:30 PM. Tournament players receive a $75 discount on the dinner.
On Sunday, February 19th, the finals will begin at 8:30 AM, featuring American Rules and Golf Croquet. The event will conclude with a grand buffet brunch, awards ceremony, and 50-50 drawing with up to $5,000 in cash and prizes. Tickets for the 50-50 drawing are $100.
The tournament fee of $450 includes the opening cocktail reception with two drink tickets, daily hot breakfast, premium lunches, coffee and cold drinks all day, and the grand Sunday buffet. The deadline for tournament entry is February 7th, and the deadline to submit an RSVP for the Hall of Fame Induction Gala and Festive Dinner is February 11th.
