Announcing "CroquetNow" a USCA Exclusive member benefit.
It is with anticipation, excitement, and a lot of hard behind the scenes work, that the USCA introduces “CroquetNow” as an exclusive member benefit for all USCA members. First and foremost, CroquetNow is for people who like playing croquet at any level! It is just as useful to record fun family games in the backyard, track progress for beginner players, help croquet clubs function, as it is to assist the most serious of players.
CroquetNow is a croquet game history, handicapping, ranking, research, information, and network system is available to USCA members and USCA clubs exclusively as a member benefit. It is accessed from the USCA website (once the member has logged on). It is an innovative system that allows the USCA to be part of every game, every day, and enhance your croquet experience. It provides instant feedback of progression for beginner players with adjustments to handicaps and rankings the instant a result is entered.
The system allows tracking, handicapping, ranking, game history, singles or doubles, and venues played in all four major forms of croquet (American Six Wicket Croquet, Association Croquet, Nine Wicket Croquet, and Golf Croquet). Members can view any combination of game types depending on their preference either on their smart phone or computer browser. Members can look up friends and search for evenly matched players in their club, district, region, and across the country. Member clubs can track intra club ladders and rankings in all four rule types.
The system allows local / grass roots level application of handicapping and ranking for players in doubles and singles. With the implementation and introduction of new systems that involve a change in practices there may be tweaks and adjustments needed. I ask for your understanding if any problems arise. We anticipate that further development will enhance this system. We invite your feedback.
