New USCA GC Open Still Open

There’s still time to register for the new USCA Golf Croquet Open, taking place at the National Croquet Center in West Palm Beach, Florida, in January. This inaugural event will crown the first-ever USCA Open GC Champion, starting with a ProAm doubles tournament on January 6, followed by singles block play on January 7. Knockout matches will feature best-of-three, seven-point games, while consolation play will include plate, bowl and shield divisions. Quarterfinals will be held in each group with prize money for finalists and a perpetual trophy for the champion. Players with D-Grade rankings above 2100 have pre-allocated slots, and additional entries will be confirmed by November 15. Overseas players can access limited hosting options, while all participants can benefit from a discounted hotel rate of $169 per night at the Hilton Double Tree, located 10 minutes from the club (booking links expire on November 15 and December 10). Daily hot lunch and a beverage station will be provided, with plans to livestream the semifinals and final. For more information, visit the official tournament page.
