After three days of play, the PFC Mallets Golf Croquet World Team Championship has concluded the block phase with Australia and the USA topping their respective blocks with 3-0 records. The event is being held at the Northern Tasmanian Croquet Centre in St. Leonards, Tasmania, and will now see Australia square off against Egypt in one semifinal, while Team USA will face New Zealand.
Team USA was down 2-0 to Egypt in final round of block play after doubles, but roared back claiming wins in all of the singles matches to win 4-2.
The schedule now calls for two days of 13-match semifinals play with the final also as a 13-match format starting on Saturday. The semifinals will be live stream today on YouTube:

The plate will be played as a round robin with England, Ireland, South Africa and Spain looking to avoid relegation to Tier 2 as the last-place team will move down.
