Trimmer Mallets finished #2 in 2022 just behind Matthew Essick, who slipped to #3 in this year. Overall, the list tells a story of the croquet year, with plenty of surprises.

The inaugural Women’s Hurricane Golf Croquet Open tournament was held at the National Croquet Center in West Palm Beach, Florida on January 20-23, 2022.
The tournament was hosted by the women of the National Croquet Club and managed by Priscilla Flowers and Cami Russack. Macey White was the tournament director. 56 players signed up and represented all levels of GC play, from beginners to the best, including six of the top ten active female players in America; Helen Covington, Cheryl Bromley, Debbie Davidoff, Eileen Soo, Lynda Sudderberg, and Vicky Naranjo.

The 2021 Southeast Regional American 6-Wicket Croquet Tournament was held June 10-13, 2021, at the beautiful Pinehurst Resort. The courts were in good shape and players of all flights came ready to play high-level croquet.
Cloudy skies prevailed through the tournament with occasional showers, but that did not disrupt play enough to get the tournament off of its heavy-play schedule. Forty-three players vied for championships in singles and doubles on four courts over four days. Play started each day at 8:00 a.m., and on some days, didn’t end until 7:00 p.m.
The 2021 Rockfish Rocks!
The 2021 Rockfish Golf Croquet Tournament was a great event. 33 players from all over the US came to Chesapeake Bay to play, socialize and have fun.
Many players did not already have a World Croquet Federation (WCF) grade which made seeding players difficult, so everyone was placed into the same flight as one big knockout.
