At the top of the list, the story remains familiar, as Dave Trimmer Mallets continues to widen its commanding lead over the competition. Meanwhile, the US College Croquet National Championship retains its stronghold in the runner-up position, hinting at its potential for even greater prominence with expanded coverage. As you explore the list, you’ll find it not only highlights the key moments of 2024 but also points to exciting opportunities for the sport’s future. Dave Trimmer Mallets repeats at the #1 spot
01. Dave Trimmer Mallets
The undisputed king of Croquet Network and a repeat as our #1. The popular mallet manufacturer gets four times as much interest as our runner-up.
02. College Croquet National Championship
Secures the #2 spot for the second year in a row. People are looking for coverage — Croquet Network is here to help.
03. Chesapeake Bay Croquet Club
The world’s largest croquet club boasting 24 courts hosted the 2024 GC World Championship in October and moved up from #7 in last year’s list.
04. Matthew Essick
Focused on GC in 2024 and is ranked as the #1 US GC player and #6 in the world.
05. Sherif Abdelwahab
Up from #9 in 2023, Abdelwahab is #5 on the US GC player list and #8 for AC.
06. Robert Fletcher
Fletcher’s awesome run to a silver medal in the 2024 GC World Championship pushed him up from the #10 spot.

07. Greenwich Croquet Club
As one of the USCA’s founding five clubs, the GCC continues to be popular on Croquet Network moving up one spot this year.
08. Macey White
White took the new Chesapeake Bay Croquet Club to a new level in 2024 as the venue was popular with international players participating in the GC World Championship.
09. Dallas Croquet
People are in the Dallas area are looking for croquet. After joining the list in 2023, the city moved up from the #15 position.
10. Welsh Croquet Association
Wales ranks #7 on the WCF AC World Team ranking lists and #10 for GC World teams.
11. Tom Balding
After making a Last Four appearance in the 2023 AC World Championship, Balding came within one point of reaching the last four at the 2024 GC Worlds. He makes a strong debut on our list at #11.
12. PFC Hoop Maker
PFC climbed up from the #17 spot in 2023.
13. Singapore Croquet
Moves up from #14 … the Singapore Croquet Meetup is the largest croquet group on Meetup, but looks like it’s been inactive since 2022.
14. Edmund Fordyce
The #3 GC player in the world, Fordyce took the Shield at the 2024 GC Worlds in Virginia in October, then followed that with a win at the Mountain Lake Invitational.
15. Jeff Soo
Soo has been a fixture on the US croquet scene for decades and will be inducted into the US Croquet Hall of Fame in 2025. He was busy in 2024 as he took on the challenging role of tournament manager for the 2024 GC Worlds event in Virginia in October.
16. Terminator Mallets
Based in New Zealand, Terminator mallets is also the manufacturer of the famous Quadway Hoops.
17. WCF Golf Croquet World Championship
Surprisingly, this is the first time a WCF event has made the top 25 list.
18. European Croquet Federation
The WCF’s European activities have propelled this keyword onto the 2024 list.
19. Numero Uno Golf Croquet Mallet
This mallet maker is a new but likely short-lived entry. It looked like a contender, but the website is now suspended.
20. Brian Cumming Mallets
This custom mallet maker continues to draw interest on Croquet Network.
21. Cheryl Bromley
Inducted into the US Croquet Hall of Fame in 2024, Bromley has helped GC achieve new heights in the US. She also did a stellar job or organizing and leading the officiating crew for the 2024 GC World Championship.

22. Stephen Morgan
The veteran US player had a strong showing at GC Worlds knocking off world #5 Ahmed Nasr in round one of the knockouts before falling to fellow US player Tom Balding in round two. He finished as runner-up in the Shield.
23. North Carolina Croquet
Florida boasts more than 1,000 USCA members, but North Carolina is a formidable challenger with 355 USCA members and reports of more than 1,000 non-USCA GC diehards in the western mountains.
24. Blake Fields
Fields set the croquet world on fire with his dazzling run to the GC World Championship title in October. He’s a newcomer to the Top 25.
