The USCA released a letter from president Sara Low announcing the cancellation of all USCA-title events for May 2020. Those events include the Southeast American 6-Wicket Regional, the Southeast 9-Wicket Regional, the Association Laws National Championship and an American 6-Wicket Rules School.

The WCF has announced the postponement of the Golf Croquet World Team Championships for both Tier 2 and Tier 3 until 2021. For Tier 2, the Federacion Espanola de Croquet and the other seven Competing Nations jointly decided on the move to 2021. For Tier 3, the Croquet Association (UK), the host club and the WCF Management Committee agreed on the postponement to 2021.

St. Johns Croquet Team Visits Chesapeake Bay Croquet Club
The St Johns croquet team came to Hartfield, Virginia to play a challenge match with the Chesapeake Bay Croquet Club. In all, 30 players competed in this two-day tournament. The first day was all American 6-Wicket and the second day was all Golf Croquet. Both days had two flight and were played in the Swiss format where winners play winners and losers play losers and all players played the same number of games.

The USCA has issued the following letter from President Sara Low announcing the cancellation of the 2020 Croquet Week events due to the coronavirus:
Over the last few days we have received several inquiries as to the USCA’s response to COVID-19, and particularly now as this virus has been identified in Florida. The safety of USCA members, event participants and staff is and remains our highest priority. The USCA office and Management Committee are closely monitoring the World Health Organization, the Center for Disease Control, and local health agency websites and bulletins for updates and guidance.
